Lisa grew up in Kenya and the influence of the tropics is very visible in her work. She comes from a family of artists, caricaturists and photographers, so from an early age was living and breathing art, colour, texture, composition, honing her creative and observation skills. Lisa won an art scholarship through her secondary education and has studied the history of art and architecture. Her degree was French and English combined honors at Southampton University.
Lisa takes her inspiration from nature and the sea. An active scuba diver and lover of the sea, reefs, fish and the Ocean bed are often the subject of many a canvas and mosaic. Having travelled in Asia, Africa, the USA and Europe Lisa will take on commissions worldwide. This is not as complicated as it sounds, with modern technology as it is Lisa can take a brief and communicate via Skype/ zoom / WhatsApp. Designs can be emailed and photographs sent regularly during the artistic process.
